Devil’s Lake Embankments Phase 2B / East Ditch Pump Station

Raise 13,000 LFof embankments along Devil’s Lake from elevation 1461.2 to 1468.2. Construct a new interior drainage pump station/gatewell and remove and demo the existing pump station. Pump station consists of structural headwall with 72” diameter inlet piping capable of discharging 280,000 GPM through eight 42” HDPE discharge lines connected to a gatewell structure constructed within an earthen cofferdam 300′ into the lake. Install new primary and secondary power transformers and ductbank, elevated concrete deck with steel joist and deck for pump station, electrical components and pumps, automated grease lubrication system for main pumps, 72” electrically actuated steel gates, 10-ton bridge crane, and overhead suspended grab rake system for solids collection.

Fall Creek Fish Facility

Construct a new adult fish collection facility, upgrade and tie in to the existing fish facility to comply with current environmental criteria, and provide a safe working environment for the end user. This effort includes a new concrete fish ladder, pre-sort structure, fish crowder, transport flumes, anesthetic tank, recovery tank, false weir, brail assembly, head box dewatering flume, post-sort structure, pre-engineered steel structure & independent mezzanine with lower access platform, installation of complex mechanical systems, tie in of large diameter carbon steel water supply and return piping, fish handling equipment, demolition and modification of the existing fish ladder, associated electrical installations, asphalt/concrete paving, and landscaping.

Minidoka Dam Modifications

Construct a south gated spillway,  north and south mass concrete dikes, north and south side canal headworks, north and south mass concrete overflow spillways, and modify the existing north gated spillway.  The spillway dike is 2,000 feet long, the 3 radial gate structures contain 16 radial gates each 20’ wide and 20’ to 24’ tall.  Demolish the existing overflow spillway and canal headworks; excavate foundations, spillway approach channel, and spillway outlet channel, install government-furnished radial gates, gate hoists, and associated equipment; furnish and install fencing, gates, railing, stairs, and gantry crane and associated rails.
