RSCI’s in-house mechanical and electrical teams are involved in the alternate delivery process from proposal through pre-construction, design, construction, commissioning, and turn-over. Mechanical and electrical systems are critical aspects of a technical facility, and RSCI’s past success primarily results from controlling and self-performing these scopes. RSCI’s team ensures that the right equipment is selected early in the design phase. Construction management is an innovative project method that integrates the expertise of RSCI’s construction professionals into a partnership relationship with the designer, consultants, and the public agency or owner. Construction management replaces the negative, adversarial approach with a team relationship between the owner, architect, and general contractor. Services include accountability to the owner, advanced planning, structured bid packages, open communication, and phased construction to reduce costs and save schedule time.

RSCI’s CMAR/CMGC project delivery philosophy is rooted in collaboration and problem solving between owners, stakeholders, client groups, design professionals, and end-users. This integrated process correctly balances project parameters and constraints and enhances day-to-day communications, team interaction, and successful execution of work.

Our Design-Build approach provides a single point of accountability while compressing the overall time frame for project completion by functioning as an integrated team with the owner, designer, and builder. RSCI’s services include phased construction, saving time and money by integrating design and construction. Open communication, so information needed to make critical decisions is readily available.
